Style Imitation (2 of ?)
Skottie Young is my latest victim.
Skottie’s work has massively influenced some of my editorial work. His work is always changing and evolving but it’s so well known. His run of the final arc of New X-Men still stands in my mind as one of my favourites. (I also have a cherry aid stained copy of his first sketch book. The stain was not my fault)
So here is Doug and ‘Locke chilling, being a latin nerd and broken furby.

Style Imitation
So technically the newest one was the 3rd one in my style imitation quest. Just wondering what everyone thought of them and who I should try next. ~
I’m thinking of trying my hand at Skottie Young, what with him being an art hero of mine.

Style Imitation: Bubble Pop Electric
(1 of ?)
New Project. Style imitation. I’ve always been really good at imitating other peoples ways of illustrating, where as my own ‘style’ lacks any real finesse.
In doing this project, I hope to be able to study other peoples work and the way they use shape and lines to convey the way they work. - and that it will hopefully allow me to loosen up my own illustrious. It’s also really fun, ha.
My first victim-err, study, is Javas I love the sculptured feel to his work, not to mention his lighting. I’ve been a fan of his work for the last few years and thought, why not.
Leeland and Warlock are my unfortunate models for this project.
Hope you like!
LW!
